Scope

The project at Purangi in East Taranaki covers 13,000 hectares and is home to over 500 pair of western brown kiwi. Purangi Kiwi (formerly ETET) required a full business model makeover. From their logo and branding to their website, print material and developing additional revenue streams through the website platform to generate much needed funding for this great cause.

Results

The project commenced with developing the logo and branding guidelines which would be the new “face” of the organsiation. Attention then turned to the business model and concepts for developing additional revenue streams which were realised through functionality developed in the website, including donations, an online store, memberships, sponsoring and adopting an animal, as well as a volunteer portal. The result has been significant increases in donations and sponsorship, from corporate sponsorship and individuals alike.

Furthermore, as the role of Purangi is one of education, the website has been built with interactive content and learning experiences in mind, which appeal to both adults and children. A raft of design material has been completed, from business cards and email signatures to banners and reports.
